Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,

We hope that you are all enjoying this beautiful weather.  While our mornings are getting colder it is great to be enjoying the sunshine during the day.

Catholic Education Week: Friday 16th-Friday 23rd May

St Gabriel’s Primary School will celebrate Catholic Education Week with a special Mass on Thursday 23rd  May, 2025 at St Michael’s Church.

This year’s Catholic Education Week theme is, Pilgrims of Hope to align with the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope proclaimed by Pope Francis, inviting communities to reflect on the significance of hope and faith in their lives.

Our school will be helping to spread the message of ‘hope’ in our community as part of Catholic Education Week.  Students will be sharing messages that reflect what Hope means to them.  We will also be undertaking social justice and fundraising projects to support those in need through the ‘Give a Damn’ ‘Give a Can’ initiative for St Vinnies.

Catholic Education is one of the most special weeks on the Catholic Education Calendar as it allows us to celebrate not only the school but the parish, and the local community. At St Gabriels we value our wonderful community spirit and the dedicated teachers at the school who bring out the creative talents in each student.  We look forward to celebrating Mass with you on Thursday.

Education Support Staff Appreciation Day

Friday 16th May we celebrate the work of our amazing Education Support Staff.  We appreciate you and all the support you provide. You are essential to our school community and your dedication to our students makes a real difference.  Our school would not run as efficiently as it does without you all.
