Dear Parents, Guardians & Carers,

We have been welcoming our 2023 Foundation students to our Orientation sessions over the past few weeks, and it has been delightful to see the smiling faces walk through the gate each time. They have been kept busy with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities over the past 3 visits. We look forward to welcoming their parents on Monday 5th December as well to meet the teachers, information and pizza night. All students will move to their 2023 learning space on Tuesday 6th December to meet their new teacher and classmates.

We have a busy couple of weeks coming up with different activities. Below are some reminders!

  • Sunday 4th December: Parish Family Picnic

  • Tuesday 6th December: School wide orientation day 11.30am-1.00pm

  • Wednesday 7th December: Year 7 Lavalla Orientation Day

  • Thursday 8th December: End of year Mass: 9.30am at St Michael’s Church (all welcome)

  • Friday 9th December: Christmas Carols Assembly 2pm school hall (all welcome)

  • Tuesday 13th December: Traralgon College Orientation Day

  • Wednesday 14th December: Year 6 Graduation Day

  • Friday 16th December: Final Day for all students 3.20pm finish.

Grandparents Day

Last week we welcomed over 400 grandparents to our school during the morning. It was pleasing to see the smiles on the students' and grandparents' faces as they proudly completed activities together in their classrooms and they showed them to their siblings' classrooms.  It felt so good to have people back in the school again.

Colour Run

What a fun day we had on Friday afternoon at our Inaugural Colour Run.  Once again we had many parents onsite to view the fun.  We even heard the words “This is my best day of school ever.”  A massive thank you to our P&F team who organised the day.  We would also like to say thank you to the following businesses who donated prizes: Aygee Gippsland, Gumbuya World & Cafe Eviva.

We are very excited to be able to move into our new building as of Monday 5th December.  You will have received an email which will provide you with all of the information that you need to know regarding our temporary administration area etc.

Kind regards,

Michelle Charlton
